I'll confess. Yes, I use my smartphone to download and read e-books. No dedicated eReader for this bloke, instead I have hundreds of books at my fingertips anytime I want. Plus, living off-grid, the last thing I need is another device I need to keep charged.
The two apps I use are Amazon's Kindle app which needs no introduction, and Cool Reader by Vadim Lopatin.
Cool Reader can be downloaded off Google Play and has a 4.3 star rating. These are the reasons I find this app ideal;
> It's a multi platform reader (it supports epub (non-DRM), fb2, doc, txt, rtf, html, chm, tcr, pdb, prc, mobi (non-DRM), and pml formats.)
> It has a day/night option which reduces strain on my eyes in dim light conditions.
> It includes a Read Aloud function in the free version.
These are just some of the various settings and functions that make this app so convenient to have on my phone. I can access pretty much any document through it, literature, user manuals, and work documents.
I recommend reading Sons of Iberia
